Welcome! You have probably come across a lot of bios listing qualifications and technical jargon, but they don’t always give you a real sense of the person behind the profession. So let me start by saying: I’m Amy, and I believe in human-to-human connection.
Helping people fills my cup, and that’s what drew me to this profession. At The Change Room, my focus is on working with you, as a team, to tackle whatever is on your mind. While my qualifications and experience are important (you can find those here if you’d like), what truly matters is creating a safe and supportive space where you feel understood and heard.
As a parent myself, I know firsthand how messy, challenging, and rewarding life can be. I have two young children and two teenage stepchildren, so I understand the rollercoaster of emotions that come with parenting, blended families, and everything in between. I’m passionate about supporting women and families, especially during the perinatal period, when life can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating the highs and lows of parenthood, dealing with perinatal anxiety or depression, or simply trying to find your footing, I’m here to help. There is no problem to big, or to small for therapy.
We’re in this together—whether you are facing clinical symptoms or just need someone to help you navigate life’s challenges. It’s okay to not have it all figured out.
